Mobile Notary, at your Service at

Virginia Hospital Center

If you or a family member are in the hospital, there may be important legal documents that you need to get notarized. The hospital may have a notary on staff, but they are limited in what they can notarize and they have limited availability. For example, the notary at Fairfax Hospital may only notarize medical-related documents and they're only available during weekday business hours.

Whether you are an in-patient or an out-patient at a Northern Virginia hospital, or a family member of someone who is, I wilI bring my mobile notary services to you.

Work Directly with a Local Notary Instead of a Nationwide Signing Service

Unlike other notary services that are nationwide and usually located in another state, my service is stricly local to the Northern Virginia area. I am the sole notary in my practice, so after speaking directly with me on the phone, I'll be the one who shows up to your appointment. You won't have to wonder whether the notary has received the correct information! While the nationwide notary service tends to charge inflated fees, you'll find that my local fees are the most reasonable. And I do not charge "emergency, after hours, or weekend fees."

Knowledge of Virginia Notary Law and Practices

Since 2021, I have been notarizing a wide range of legal documents for patients at Fairfax Hospital, Fair Oaks Hospital, Virginia Hospital Center, Schar Cancer Institute, and Reston Hospital. I have earned solid five-star reviews on Google and Yelp and I have extensive experience with estate planning documents (trusts, wills, powers of attorney, etc) and with real estate documents (buyer, seller, refinance, and home equity line of credit files).

My credentials include certifications in the presentation of both estate planning documents and real estate documents. I know how important it is that these documents are signed and notarized in compliance with Virginia notary law.

Patient and respectful service

I understand the stress and the emotional toll that comes with medical emergencies, sudden transitions, and urgent legal needs. That's why I bring my professional notary service directly to your hospital room or waiting area. I approach every client with compassion, patience, and respect. As a senior citizen, I understand the issues that our elders might face, and I will not rush them through their signing.

What to expect at a Signing Appointment at a Healthcare Facility

- The patient must be coherent, alert, and aware of the contents of the document, and they must be willing to sign them.
- I will review with you what is needed for your appointment beforehand, such as acceptable forms of ID and witnesses. You won't have to worry about missing a step. Please review my two-page PDF document,
Prepare for a Successful Signing.
- Please note that many facilities do not permit their staff members to act as document witnesses, so, if needed, you should check with them beforehand.
- Notaries are not allowed to create documents for the patient unless they are also a licensed document preparer or attorney.
- If you are arranging the appointment for a patient or resident but you cannot attend it, just let me know how you'd like me to return the documents to you.

Printing / Scanning / Shipping Services

If you are unable to print your documents, I can print them for you. Do you need them scanned and emailed? I can scan the signed file and email it to your attorney, title company, or family member if desired. If you'd like to have your documents shipped via courier, I can drop them off at FedEx or UPS for fast delivery.
