hospital notary in Fairfax County, VA hospital notary, notary services in hospitals, hospital notarization in Northern VA

If you or a family member are in a Northern Virginia hospital, you may need to get certain legal documents notarized. You might need help with banking, the handling of a real estate transaction, or with payment of your bills during your hospital stay. I bring my professional notary service to your hospital room, and I can be available when the hospital notary is not--after hours or on weekends. I have been providing professional notary services throughout Fairfax County since 2021. I travel to the following hospitals for your convenience: Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington, Inova Fairfax Hospital in Falls Church, Inova Fair Oaks Hospital in Fair Oaks, Reston Hospital Center in Reston, and the Inova Schar Cancer Institute in Fairfax. Convenience Having a notary travel to you will save you time and allow you to concentrate on your own needs or the needs of the patient during, what could be, a stressful period. I can be at the patient's hospital room at a time that's convenient for you. I can set early morning, evening, or weekend appointments if needed. Expertise Since 2021 I have served hundreds of customerws in Fairfax County, and I have taken specialized training in both estate planning documents and in real estate transactions. Whether you need to sign a power of attorney, a will, trust documents, or real estate documents, you can call on me. As a certified signing agent, I assist local title companies with their real estate closings and I have had to do a number of them from within a hospital room. As a member of National Notary Association (NNA), I maintain my signing agent certification, which is updated with an annual exam and background check. Communication Emerald Mobile Notary Service is a one-woman notary service, so I am the person who speaks to you on the phone, and unlike a large nationwide signing service, I will also be the one who shows up at the hospital. When you call on my service, you can expect a punctual, reliable, and confidential notarization. It's important that, if you are the one arranging the appointment for a loved one, you be honest about the patient's understanding of the documents and their abiity to sign. Relaying your concerns will allow me to address any issues or find solutions beforehand so that the appointment goes smoothly. You may need to consider scheduling for a time when the signer is not medicated so that they are alert and coherent at the time of signing. My goal is to have the documents executed properly and in compliance with Virginia notary laws. Additional Services If you would like to have your documents printed, scanned, and/or shipped via a courier, I can provide those services as well. Requirements for a Successful Notarization The signer must provide their current government-issued photo ID, such as a driver's license or passport. If they don't have a current form of ID, we are allowed to use alternative procedures in Virginia, which we would arrange for in advance. The signer must be alert and aware, must be able to communicate with the notary, and should be able to state the purpose of the documents they're signing. The signer should review the documents beforehand. The documents should not have any blank spaces. Please do not initial or sign anything until the notary is present. Are witnesses required for your document? A last will and testament always requires two disinterested witnesses; they should not be named in or benefit from the document. A witness must be 18 or over, be of sound mind, and provide a valid ID. If you are in need of notary services at a Northern Virginia hospital, please let me know how I can help.
